Honey and Cinnamon Cold Cure

Did you know that a teaspoon of honey (local – raw is best) and a 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon will usually knock out a cold within a day or two? Take twice a day for 3 days for best results. Both honey and cinnamon are antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal.  Also knocks bladder/kidney infections, reduces sugar levels, blood pressure, acts as a pain reliever for arthritis. And much more! I need this!


Green Smoothie Recipes

Green Smoothie Recipe 1
1 handful of spinach (organic)
1 handful of romaine (organic)
1/2 ounce of Mint leaves (organic) or more if you like it really minty
3/4 or 1 pound of strawberries (organic)
1 banana (organic)
1 cup of filtered water

Green Smoothie Recipe 2
one-half bunch of the following:
red russian kale
5 stalks of celery
1 mango
about 10 strawberry
1 pear
gel of whole aloe vera leaf
a pinch of homeade green powder
1/4 cup water
a few frozen grapes
garnished with
broccoli sprouts and bee pollen

Green Smoothie Recipe 3
1/2 avocado
1/2 capsicum
one small onion
2 cloves garlic
one chilli
2 handfuls black cabbage
2 cups water

Green Smoothie Recipe 4
1 apple
1 peach
1 nectarine
1 carrot
1/4 avocado
1 lemon (without peel or seeds)
Then filled the blender (Vita mix) with
romaine lettuce
1 cup of water

2 handfuls of carrot tops
2 stalks of celery
1 handful of sunflower sprouts
3 big red lettuce leafs
1 serving of aloe vera dried gel (from “Good Cause Wellness”)
3 bananas
2 cups water


Here are some recipes I found online, but I say, just go with what you like! I know it says “juice” on the recipe, but you can always throw the same ingredients in a blender.


Vegetable Super Juice

This juice is a popular one for breakfast as it gives your energy levels a boost, wakens your digestive system whilst giving your body a nutrition, yet gentle start to the day.

1 whole cucumber
4 sticks of celery
2-4 handfuls of spinach
8 lettuce leaves

Any other greens!
Optional boosters: parsley and fresh alfalfa sprouts


Healing Detox Juice
A sweeter, more subtle juice which still packs a nutritional punch!

3-4 Carrots
1 1/4 cup Fresh Spinach
Handful of Flat Leaf Parsley
2-3 Sticks of Celery


Vegetable Juice Combo

2 Swiss chard leaves
1/2 beetroot
2 or 3 sprigs of watercress
3 carrots
1 celery stalk

Wash with filtered or distilled water, cut and put in juicer.


Strawberry Raspberry Blend

1 cup strawberries
1 cup raspberries
1 glass mineral water
crushed ice, if you like

1. Liquefy the raspberries and strawberries in a blender.
2. Pour over crushed ice.
3. Serves 1 with only 110 calories!


Morning Sunshine Smoothie

2 large oranges
1 red grapefruit
6 frozen strawberries
1/2 banana

1. Squeeze the juice from the oranges and grapefruit.
2. Put the juice in a blender and blend with the strawberries and banana.


Carrot Cleanser Juice

4 large carrots
1 stalk of celery
1 apple
handful spinach
juice from 1/2 lemon (optional)
