Amish Sand Tart Cookies

1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
3 each eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 1/4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt

1. Preheat oven to 375 and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. Cream together butter and sugars, beat in eggs and vanilla.

3. Mix in flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt, mixing  just until combined.

4. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough on baking sheets and bake for about 10 minutes or until light and golden brown.

1 ¼ cups sugar
½ cup light brown sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons milk
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
3 ½ cups flour

Cream sugars and butter; add eggs, milk, and vanilla until thoroughly combined. Stir in baking soda, cinnamon, and flour until mixed through. Roll dough thin and cut into desired shapes. Bake in a 375-degree oven for 8-10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
