Cranberry Meatballs Recipe


2 2/3 pounds ground beef
2 2/3 eggs
1 1/3 teaspoon salt
1/6 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
1 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1/3 cup water
21 1/3 ounces can cranberry sauce
2 2/3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/3 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup bottled chili sauce


Combine ground beef, eggs, salt, pepper, onion, bread crumbs and water. Shape into meatballs and brown in a medium skillet; drain. Combine cranberry sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice and chili sauce in a medium sauce pan. Simmer; stirring until smooth. Place meatballs in a crock pot and pour sauce over them. Cover; cook on Low for 3 to 4 hours. 

This recipe serves 8.
